The Isle of Skye offers a chance to see aurora borealis over some of Scotland's most dramatic landscapes. While further south than Scandinavian destinations, strong geomagnetic storms bring northern lights to these Celtic shores.

September to March is aurora season. Strong storms (Kp 5+) are typically needed for visible aurora. Monitor activity and be ready to head out when conditions align.
